Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling is back on the Prostate Cancer Walk and this year, Wetherby Athletic Veterans are joining him!
Following his epic walk from Hartlepool United to Wembley Stadium last season, this year he is aiming to do 15 marathons in 15 days that will see him leave from Exeter City’s St James Park on the 2nd June and, after visiting the homes of 38 other teams, he will arrive at Newcastle United’s St James’ Park on Friday 16th June.
The date to be aware of for our neck of the woods is the 14 June as Jeff will be walking 25.6 miles from The CNG Stadium (Harrogate Town AFC) which is the home to Wetherby Athletic Vets, calling in at Ripon City, before arriving at Bedale Town.
